Objective
The fireplace has been an iconic image of gatherings, family and the winter holidays. This project is a miniature experiment that deals with an automatic sensoric fireplace. The more noise and excitement feeding around the fireplace, the more the LED fire flickers and the more noise of flickerings.
Building a miniature chimney with LED lights as simulated fire. The noise comes from a speaker and the sound is generated by the interaction between user and sensors.

This project is a final project done for VIS147a, taught by Mark Allen and TAd by Jules Hearne. This is the third attempt of completing the assignment. The first was an clap-automated fan and the second was a buzzing bee colony.
